The European project i2connect aims to strengthen the role of farm and forestry advisors in interactive innovation, to support farmers and foresters in their transition to more sustainable production systems. The first international conference of the project is hosted by ÖMKi, the Hungarian Research Institute of Organic Agriculture and the Széchenyi University. Participants must register in advance, using the web-based conference management system.
The conference invites advisors, trainers, researchers, and representatives of public authorities from Central Eastern Europe and beyond to present and discuss topics relevant for the future of advisory services, including better Agriculture Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS) in Europe, best practices in innovation support through advisory services, and good examples of comprehensive capacity building programmes on innovation for trainers, advisors and managers of advisory services. In addition, a range of opportunities will be offered for participants to become actively engaged in the international agriculture and forestry advisory community.
The conference will include key note speeches, presentations, a poster session and interactive workshops, as well as field visits to discover inspiring examples of interactive innovation in practice.
The online registration is open at: https://i2conf.eu/registration.
