Different cultivation techniques were investigated for their effectiveness in erosion control.
This report provides an overview of the experimental plots that were established as part of the GOMEROS project in 2017. In GOMEROS, ILVO, INAGRO and PCG are investigating source directed erosion control in the cultivation of vegetables and maize. It examines which cultivation techniques maintain crop yields and effectively combat erosion at the source. During 4 years (2016-2019) field trials with vegetables and maize are set up across the hilly regions in Flanders.
