Consumer demand for meadow milk is rising. This is milk from cows that graze outdoors on pasture for part of the year. To claim the label, cows must be on pasture 120 days a year and 6 hours a day. But what about methane emissions when cows eat uncontrolled amounts of fresh grass? ILVO is trying to find an answer to this through research.
