ILVO not only breeds grasses, clovers, quinoa, also several green cover crops. One of these is fodder radish. From summer 2025 no less than 5 new varieties will be available on the market. And they are very special: these leafy radish varieties are able to purify the soil of 2 types of parasitic nematodes: the beet cyst nematode and the root knot nematode. As much as 90% of the nematodes in question are gone from an infected soil after just one sowing of fodder radish!
