On public transport

Melle's railway station is the most convenient one to use. It has good connections from Brussels or Gent-Sint-Pieters. The Technology and Food Sciences site on the Brusselsesteenweg is 1.8 km from the Melle railway station on the Brusselsesteenweg (N9), direction Aalst. In front of the railway station, turn left to get to the Brusselsesteenweg (N9). At the traffic lights, turn right in the direction of Aalst. The site is clearly marked with an ILVO sign.

A closer railway stop is the Kwatrecht station. The Technology and Food Sciences site on the Brusselsesteenweg in Melle is 700 m. from the railway station. On leaving the station, turn left onto the Brusselsesteenweg (N9) in the direction of Ghent. The site is clearly marked with an ILVO sign.

By car

Coming from Brussels on the E40, leave the motorway at exit 17 (Wetteren). At the roundabout, follow the road sign to Wetteren on the N42. Turn left at the traffic lights to Gent on the N9 (Brusselsesteenweg). Follow that road for about 2 km. The Technology and Food Science site is on your left. The site is clearly marked with an ILVO sign.

From Ghent on the E40, or as an alternative route when coming from Brussels, leave the E40 motorway at exit 17 (Wetteren). At the roundabout, follow the road sign to Wetteren on the N42. At the traffic lights, turn left toward Ghent on the N9 (Brusselsesteenweg). Follow that road for about 2 km and you will see the Technology and Food Science site on your left. The site is clearly marked with an ILVO sign.

From the E17, follow signs for the R4 ring road at the Destelbergen exit. Take the R4 in the direction direction Wetteren / E40 Brussel. Take the E40 motorway, direction Brussels. Leave the E40 motorway at exit 17 (Wetteren). At the roundabout, follow signs for Wetteren on the N42. At the traffic lights, turn left toward Ghent on the N9 (Brusselsesteenweg). Follow that road for about 2 km and you will see the Technology and Food Science site on your left. The site is clearly marked with an ILVO sign.
