Research projects
Main research questionThe ECOSCOPE project aims at improved fisheries management that balances a healthy marine ecosystem with sustainable fisheries. This requires a lot of diverse, accurate and up-to-date data that can be interpreted in a clear way by fishermen.

Knowledge of marine connectivity is essential to support a sustainable blue economy
Sustainable management of marine ecosystems is essential, but for this, knowledge about the functioning and connectivity between habitats and various ecosystem components is still insufficient. This is the goal of the new COST network initiative SEA-UNICORN.
