Event Save the date: final event ENFASYS & VISIONARY

Save the date: From Research to Impact: Social, Policy & Economic Instruments for Advancing Sustainable Food Systems in Europe_ ENFASYS & VISIONARY Final Event

ENFASYS and VISIONARY, two sister projects promoting the transition towards more sustainable farming and food systems, invite you to their joint final event.

On 16 June, at the Herman Teirlinck Building in Brussels, the programme will include a mix of plenary sessions, panel discussions, smaller interactive break-out sessions and dedicated project booths, followed by a networking reception to close the day.

Policy actors, agri-food stakeholders, practitioners and researchers will come together. The projects will present their key insights on how combining system-level approaches with behavioural research — together with social, policy and economic instruments — can accelerate the transition towards more sustainable food and farming systems in Europe.

What’s on the agenda?

• Why a systems approach, combined with behavioural insights, is essential to strengthen sustainability in agri-food systems
• Policy design principles and interventions emerging from ENFASYS and VISIONARY, exploring the potential of science–policy interfaces, policy co-design and participatory approaches for transformation
• Interactive break-out sessions where project case studies are discussed alongside real-world challenges and experiences from the field
• Key topics from the projects’ research, including:
payment systems, premium and quality labels nudging consumer choice, sustainable value chains
• A forward-looking discussion on the project legacy, implementation pathways, remaining gaps and priorities for future initiatives, with input from external stakeholders
• Booths to visit during the breaks and networking reception, showcasing concrete results and outcomes from individual case studies and specific in-depth results from ENFASYS and VISIONARY’s research activities
